Petanque in the USA
Federation of Petanque USA (FPUSA)
is the official US body affiliated with the International Petanque Federation.
Right now (March 2009), FPUSA has around 40 affiliated clubs and roughly 1300 members.
We estimate there are about 25,000 people in the country who play regularly, in informal neighborhood clubs, campgrounds, schools, etc... Or in their backyard.
