I find it very hard dealing with sellers over the internet. Why? I have no idea, or rather THEY have no idea.... For most (read 75% ) they clearly have ZERO idea about customer service, customer realtions or the ideas of simple human courtesy, as if dealing via the internet negates them of any basic manners - imagine walking into a shop, asking a question and getting NO REPLY? Just about unheard of, yet why is it that on-line sellers do this ALL the time? - Well not ALL of them, CERTAINLY not my hero (Mario) at Petanque America. When you visit their site you will instantly notice a HUGE difference to most, apart from the VERY competetive prices and the wonderful vast range of items they stock they clearly inderstand one thing, and that is the idea of SERVICE - going that extra mile (or three). Not only did Mario respond by return (always) but he was SO HELPFUL, to the point where he actually changed the web-site so I could buy my boules - and I have to say I wasn't buying pro. gear, just regular boules. I was so totally amazed and impressed by his absolute professionalism, attention to detail, friendliness, I only wish I had spent more money! I will SURELY deal with him in the future and I hope to spread his name far and wide. If you are looking for a GREAT store, then stop! You have found it here, you need search no more. I sincerely hope that Mario and the rest of the staff at Petanque America can achieve the sucessful business they strive so hard to build, and I wish them much good fortune.

I have purchased some petanque balls on ebay, which were subpar. The folks at petanque america gave me a great price and better quality. But the best part is when I needed the set for a event and choose to ship air. Well they emailed me back saying they had switched the shipping to ground because it would arrive the same time. It also saved me a decent amount of money. I will use petanque america exclusively for all of my bolles needs for my backyard court.

I ordered a Petanque set for my Grandson and was dismayed a day later when an employee named Mario informed me that they were out of stock. He went on to say that if I could wait a few days an entire shipment includig my ordered product was hung up in customs inspection coming into the United States. Mario posted me daily on when I might expect shipment, and one evening last week I was contacted by e0mail saying the shipment had arrived and they were working that night to unload the shipment and get orders ready to be shipped to customers. The next day I received confirmation e-mail notifying me my order was on the way.
I especially appreciated the extra effort Mario exhibited in keeping me posted, as this was a Christmas gift and I was concerned about having to leave an I.O.U. under the tree. If Mario is any indication of the caring and decication of this company as a whole I would highly recommend doing business with them.

Information about the sport of Petanque (a French Sport) is very rare... I looked at many prominent book stores, both American speaking and French while I was in Paris and couldnt find a book like the one I bought from Petanque America... I even ordered my book from Paris after exausting myself trying to find it while traveling. Sure enough, when I got home it was there waiting for me on my porch! And they even put in a complimentary I Love Petanque! sticker! Very nice to deal with online merchants like Petanque America!

I find it very hard dealing with sellers over the internet. Why? I have no idea, or rather THEY have no idea.... For most (read 75% ) they clearly have ZERO idea about customer service, customer realtions or the ideas of simple human courtesy, as if dealing via the internet negates them of any basic manners - imagine walking into a shop, asking a question and getting NO REPLY? Just about unheard of, yet why is it that on-line sellers do this ALL the time? - Well not ALL of them, CERTAINLY not my hero (Mario) at Petanque America. When you visit their site you will instantly notice a HUGE difference to most, apart from the VERY competetive prices and the wonderful vast range of items they stock they clearly inderstand one thing, and that is the idea of SERVICE - going that extra mile (or three). Not only did Mario respond by return (always) but he was SO HELPFUL, to the point where he actually changed the web-site so I could buy my boules - and I have to say I wasn't buying pro. gear, just regular boules. I was so totally amazed and impressed by his absolute professionalism, attention to detail, friendliness, I only wish I had spent more money! I will SURELY deal with him in the future and I hope to spread his name far and wide. If you are looking for a GREAT store, then stop! You have found it here, you need search no more. I have purchased some petanque balls on ebay, which were subpar. The folks at petanque america gave me a great price and better quality. I ordered a Petanque set for my Grandson and was dismayed a day later when an employee named Mario informed me that they were out of stock. He went on to say that if I could wait a few days an entire shipment includig my ordered product was hung up in customs inspection coming into the United States. Mario posted me daily on when I might expect shipment, and one evening last week I was contacted by e0mail saying the shipment had arrived and they were working that night to unload the shipment and get orders ready to be shipped to customers. The next day I received confirmation e-mail notifying me my order was on the way.
I especially appreciated the extra effort Mario exhibited in keeping me posted, as this was a Christmas gift and I was concerned about having to leave an I.O.U. under the tree. If Mario is any indication of the caring and decication of this company as a whole I would highly recommend doing business with them.

Information about the sport of Petanque (a French Sport) is very rare... I looked at many prominent book stores, both American speaking and French while I was in Paris and couldnt find a book like the one I bought from Petanque America...
