Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.), we will cover the return shipping costs. If the return is not due to our error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. All items must be returned in the original packaging. 

Custom orders are non-refundable and non-returnable for any reason other than manufacturer defect. This includes custom boule orders, engravings, custom bag orders, custom cochonnets, etc.

You should expect to receive your refund within three weeks of Pétanque America confirming receipt of your return, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return shipment (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Product Warranties

Standard warranties for pétanque boules range between one to three years and cover manufacturer defects only. Please refer to your warranty card that comes with your boules and retain this for your records. We will be glad to assist you with warranty submissions, but please understand that normal wear and tear as well as surface rust caused by improper storage and maintenance is not generally covered by the warranties. Please refer to the care and maintenance section of each boule for tips on maintaining the high-quality of your product. 


We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Shipping rates may vary depending on the shipping method that you choose. We will notify you of these charges are more than estimated before shipping and before your method of payment is charged. 


Custom Orders

For in stock orders, Pétanque America will not charge a customer's card until the item(s) ship from our warehouse. Due to the nature of custom orders, the customer's card will be charged once the order is placed with our manufacturer. Please note that custom orders take additional time to ship from the manufacturer, so please allow a minimum of 4 weeks for your order to arrive.
