Returns Policy
You may return most new, unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.), we will cover the return shipping costs. If the return is not due to our error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. All items must be returned unused in the original packaging.
Custom orders are non-refundable and non-returnable for any reason other than manufacturer defect. This includes custom boule orders, engravings, custom bag orders, custom cochonnets, etc.
You should expect to receive your refund within three weeks of Pétanque America confirming receipt of your return, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return shipment (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Product Warranties
Standard warranties for pétanque boules range between one to three years and cover manufacturer defects only. Please refer to your warranty card that comes with your boules and retain this for your records. We will be glad to assist you with warranty submissions, but please understand that normal wear and tear as well as surface rust caused by improper storage and maintenance is not generally covered by the warranties. Please refer to the care and maintenance section of each boule for tips on maintaining the high-quality of your product.

Obut: Sales conditions
16.3. In addition to the legal guarantees (article 14 above), the Seller grants the Buyer the following contractual guarantees :
16.3.1. for competition pétanque boules : contractual guarantee against any defect that the Product may present for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase (date of order).
16.3.2. for Leisure pétanque boules : contractual guarantee against any defect that the Product may present for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase (date of order).
Please note that this guarantee does not apply to wooden boules from the "Ma Boule" range, nor to PVC pétanque boules (OBUT all-terrain boules).
16.3.3. for accessories/clothing : contractual guarantee against any defect that the Product may present for a period of seven (7) calendar days from receipt of the Product.
MS Petanque: T&Cs
For competition petanque balls: contractual warranty against any manufacturing defect resulting in breakage for a period of three (3) years or (2) years depending on the model from the date of purchase (date of the invoice).
For accessories: contractual guarantee against any defect that the Product may present for a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of the Product.
In addition, for accessories and luggage, the contractual warranty can only apply if the following conditions are met:
- the Product has not been worn (merely tried on);
- all labels and protective films are present on the Product;
- the Product must be in perfect condition;
- the plastic packaging must surround the Product.
To be able to benefit from this commercial guarantee, the Buyer must comply with the provisions of Article 16 of the Commercial Code relating to distance selling.
Unless otherwise stipulated in writing in the order or the presentation documents of the Products manufactured by VMS-PLOT, the Buyer shall be entitled under the commercial warranty, at the option of the Seller, either to a refund of the purchase price, or to the replacement or repair of the Product.
The commercial warranty of VMS-PLOT is excluded:
- if the Buyer does not submit a compliant complaint
- if the Buyer does not return the complete Product at the request of VMS-PLOT in accordance with the GTC
- if the Product has been damaged or lost due to or during the return transport of the Buyer to VMS-PLOT,
- if the Buyer has had a modification of the product made by someone other than VMS-PLOT.
Any complaint to VMS-PLOT, whether for Products under legal or commercial warranty, must be made in writing to the address at contact@mspetanque.fr address and must be accompanied by the following elements:
- a copy of the purchase invoice for the Product found to be defective
- Description of the defect
- Photograph of the defect
Otherwise, this claim cannot be taken into account.

11.2 Commercial Warranty:
In addition to the above legal guarantees, the Consumer benefits from the following commercial guarantee:
– For competition petanque balls: contractual guarantee against any defect that the Product may present for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase (date of the order).
– For accessories/clothing: contractual guarantee against any defect that the Product may present for a period of seven (7) calendar days from receipt of the Product.
To be able to benefit from this warranty, it is imperative to keep the purchase invoice for the Product.
In addition, for clothing, the contractual guarantee can only apply if the following conditions are met:
– the Product has not been worn (simply tried on);
– all labels and protective films are present on the Product;
– the Product must be in perfect condition and well folded in the original packaging;
– the plastic packaging must surround the Product.
11.3 Implementation of legal and commercial guarantees:
Any return of a Product by the Consumer must be accompanied by the following:

Products with quality problems can be returned within 7 days after the customer receives the product

Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Shipping rates may vary depending on the shipping method that you choose. We will notify you of these charges are more than estimated before shipping and before your method of payment is charged.
Custom Orders
For in stock orders, Pétanque America will not charge a customer's card until the item(s) ship from our warehouse. Due to the nature of custom orders, the customer's card will be charged once the order is placed with our manufacturer. Please note that custom orders take additional time to ship from the manufacturer, so please allow a minimum of 4 weeks for your order to arrive.
